God's grace -- His powerfully redemptive favor, which works on behalf of the good of His people as they trust Him and align their purposes with His (i.e., through faith) -- is evident in Genesis 37-50 (though framed more familiarly in Ephesians 2:8-9). Genesis 50 -- God meant it for good.  And then they lived happily ever after?  We wish . . . Exodus 1 brings a "new chapter" -- but with everything above . . . still true!
